Rob hails all the way from the East Coast where flavor is everything. His dedication to quality and attention to detail lends our product special promise. Rob believes that coffee should be organic, roasted in small batches and brewed strong. When he's not roasting, Rob is often found with a guitar in hand and his dog at his side.  

Dana Buckler Office Manager Dana brings a wealth of knowledge as office manager with her background in both the administrative field and the restaurant industry.  Dana is passionate about family, friends, the environment and her community as demonstrated by the many years of volunteering she has done.  She is thrilled to be a part of the Alta Organic Coffee family.

Clay McCall

After graduating from UCSC, Clay spent this last summer road-tripping with his partner Hannah Mae up the Continental Divide and back to the High Sierra, climbing, backpacking, and skating all the way. Never willing to sacrifice his dearest morning ritual, Clay woke every day to hand grind his coffee in meadows and mountain wonderlands (even for the earliest alpine-starts). Catch him biking and skating around Santa Cruz, at Pacific Edge climbing gym, or at our roasting warehouse on Mission Extension.

Alec has been a Santa Cruz native his entire life and attended PSC and UCSC. He's excited to help spread our local and sustainable coffee to our small beach community and beyond. Alec believes a strong, close-knit community helps everyone thrive and live up to their potential. He contributes to our local community by coaching a local recreational lacrosse league.
